Introduction
Let me guess. You are at this site because you are planning a climbing trip (or thinking about it) to China. If you are like us, you will be on a fairly tight budget, have much of you own gear already and want to do the trip basically on your own. However, you want to avoid any mistakes that waste time or result in a crappy experience, and with that in mind any "local beta" to help provide you with information is golden. We started climbing here in 2001, and have made Yangshuo our base, so we should be able to help you out. Your best bet once you rock up in Guilin is to head to Yangshuo, then to the Lizard Lounge, where you can meet similar people and find out who's who. Below lists a bit more information.
